Aimal terms CM Gandapur ‘film actor’
CHARSADDA: Awami National Party (ANP) central president Senator Aimal Wali Khan said on Wednesday that his party had always raised its voice for the rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“The rulers should not raise their voice but rather they must take practical action to solve the people’s problems,” he told reporters at Walibagh in Charsadda. The ANP leader said that his party would support Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur if he seriously raised voice for the rights of Pakhtuns. “CM Gandapur is playing the role of a film actor. He is the second life of Pashto film actor late Badar Munir,” he said, adding that the CM was the friend of those forces who had grabbed the KP resources.
The senator said that eight universities were running without vice-chancellors as education was not the priority of the government. He said that the future of KP was very dreadful due to the volatile situation on the borders, adding that no one would be able to control the flames of terrorism fire if it spread.
“Southern districts like South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Lakki Marwat, Karak and others are fully in control of Taliban and the militants are freely roaming in these areas,” he claimed.Aimal Wali said that he would continue his fight for the rights of KP, Balochistan and Sindh in the Senate.
