Home secretary for improving security of Chinese engineers

JHANG: Punjab Home Secretary Azam Suleman and IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera on Saturday visited the Haveli Bahadur Shah power plant and inspected security of Chinese engineers.
They directed the officers concerned to further improve security measures, besides enhancing patrolling around the power plant areas. They inspected the boundary wall and entry and exits points of the power plant and directed that no one would be allowed to enter without identification and checking. Jhang DPO Humayun Masood said that a heavy contingent of police along with Elite Force and special protection unit personnel had already been deployed inside and around the project area to ensure security of Chinese engineers and other workers. He said that Special Branch policemen had also been directed to keep a vigilant eye on adjacent areas of the power project. Cabinet Committee member Rana Maqbool Ahmad, Faisalabad Regional Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Faisalabad officiating Commissioner Salman Ghani, Jhang officiating DCO Abdul Qadir Shah and others were also present.
