The province of Sindh has degenerated into a lawlessness where the daily occurrence of violent crimes has become the order of the day. Kidnapping for ransom thrives in some districts. The federal government is seemingly uninterested in confronting this growing criminality and the powerful individuals pulling the strings.
Meanwhile, the provincial government is unable to control the problem. Had our governments, past and present, supported rule of law and established an effective criminal justice system, things would not have gotten so bad.
