ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.

President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized, “We need to take Pakistan forward and everyone has to play their role in this regard.”
He stressed that political parties must prioritise the country’s progress and prosperity by fulfilling their democratic and constitutional responsibility. He added, “We must only think about Pakistan and put aside personal difference.”
Naqvi said that any challenge could be countered through unity and solidarity. earlier, the minister visited JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad and inquired after him.
The federal interior minister expressed good wishes for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s health and well-being. He emphasised that he had a longstanding relationship of more than 25 years with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, which is based on respect and esteem.
