CHITRAL: The Chitral Scouts lifted the Chief Minister’s Cup Polo trophy after a thrilling contest here on Friday.
Muhammad Ilyas of Chitral A scored the first goal soon after the start of the match which was equalised by the well-organised Chitral Scouts through an open chance within minutes. The Chitral Scouts managed to score another goal before the end of the first half. Like the first half, the second half also started in an aggressive manner amidst attacks and counter attacks. The Chitral Scouts won the match 3-2 after a close contest with the Chitral A badly missing their star player, Nasrullah, who could not participate in the tournament due to unknown reasons.
