Man arrested over rape attempt

LAHORE : A 60-year-old man was booked and arrested on charges of attempting to rape an eight-year-old girl in Chuhng on Wednesday. 

Accused Laal Din lured the victim to fields where she raised a hue and cry and nearby people gathered and handed the accused to police. The police booked and arrested him.

Boy detained, released

A 12-year-old boy was detained and released when he was found to have stolen a motorcycle out of his obsession to ride it in Shad Bagh on Wednesday. Shamak was fond of driving a motorcycle and to fulfill his wish he stole one from somewhere. He abandoned it when it ran out of petrol. SHO detained him and recovered the motorcycle and called his parents and handed him to them with warning.
