Common man demands relief in budget

Islamabad: A balanced budget is the need of the hour as skyrocketing inflation, fuel, electricity, gas and dollar prices couple with other factors directly affect the poor segment of society, people belonged to different walks of life told ‘The News’ here on Tuesday.

Budget used to be a concern of everyone but the common man has now lost interest in it because of the unending inflation, we can call it an IMF budget which the federal government was going to present on Wednesday (today), poor segment of society have claimed.

‘The News’ interviewed people living here in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad said that they don’t have interest in annual budget because they were facing budget every day. We were facing price fluctuations with every passing day and all eatable and non-eatable items were increasing its rates every day.
