Islamabad: In an episode of knife rampage, a young man was killed publicly in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police station, the alleged killer managed to escape from the scene.
The Islamabad Police, making a significant breakthrough in the murder case of Muhammad Akhlaq, a citizen who was stabbed to death in Sector I-10, the suspect, identified as Inam Rao, has been arrested in a quick search operation conducted by the Islamabad Police's Homicide Unit and Sabzi Mandi Police Station teams.
The accused had fled the scene after stabbing the victim, but was traced and apprehended through technical and human resources. DIG (Operations) Islamabad, Syed Ali Razza, has assured that the accused will be brought to justice and punished accordingly, with solid evidence. This swift action by the Islamabad Police is a testament to their professionalism and commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens.
