Lawyer killed in accident

OKARA: A lawyer was killed in a road accident on Friday.
Advocate Aleem Ahmad, brother of Pakpattan Civil Judge Wasim Ahmad, was moving on a road when he met an accident and died on the spot. He was laid to rest at his ancestral village 18/GD.
NURSES DAY OBSERVED: The World Nurses Day was observed at Okara School of Nursing, DHQ Hospital Okara. A function chaired by Principal Madam Nasim Virk was held to mark the day. Under training nurses in their speeches highlighted significance of nursing profession. The principal paid tribute to founder of World Nursing Florence Nightingale.
TRAIN KILLS MAN: A train Friday killed a man at Haveli Lakh. Muhammad Din of Hujra Shah Moqeem visited his sister’s home at Haveli Lakha and was hit by approaching Fareed Express while crossing the railway track and died on the spot.
