Ten water coolers installed at LGH

LAHORE: Ten electric water coolers donated by philanthropists have been installed in different blocks of Lahore General Hospital on Saturday. These water coolers would provide clean drinking water facility to the patients and their relatives.

The citizens particularly the patients have expressed their satisfaction over the installation of water coolers and appreciated the special efforts by Principal PGMI Prof Al-Fareed Zafar and MS Dr Faryad Hussain in this regard.

They said that there are usually problems of clean drinking water in hospitals while doctors also recommend clean drinking water to protect patients from infection. Practically patients and their families are forced to buy drinking water bottles at expensive prices from stores adjacent to the hospitals and it becomes extra burden on the pocket.

While expressing his views, Principal Ameer Uddin Medical College Prof Al-Fareed Zafar said that philanthropists are great asset of LGH and through them the clean drinking water is available. He lauded the services of such personalities who have made the solution of public problems their first priority and always prioritised to contribute for the improvement of this Institution.

MS Dr Frayad Hussain said that this institution is engaged in serving the distressed people far and wide. He also expressed his gratitude for the installation of water coolers in the hospital and prayed for the well-being of such persons who have contributed in this noble cause.
