Psycho-analysis of officers attached with foreign missions conducted

Islamabad : The Islamabad Police conducted a psychological test of police officers performing their duties with foreign ambassadors to improve the performance and mental capability, police sources said.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, visited Diplomatic and other sections of Security Division and attended a meeting to review aspects and outcome of the Psycho analysis of the police officers and officials deployed for the protection of the foreign envoys and missionaries, the sources said and added that the IGP emphasized to make the process of Psycho analysis and training of the police officials as productive.

He issued orders to the Security Division officers to enhance the security of embassies. He emphasized ensuring an effective search process at the entry and exit points of the Diplomatic Enclave and effective monitoring of these routes with Safe City cameras.

This initiative seeks to enhance the aptitude of officials within the Islamabad Police. The test included a special psychological examination committee, chaired by SSP (Security Division), while SSP (Headquarters), and psychological experts were the members of the committee.

Police Officers actively participated in the test. The conclusion of the workshop saw recommendations formulated for resolving ongoing issues faced by officers.

Islamabad Police officers are always engaged in law and order duties in order to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the citizens. Maintaining the law and order situation in the federal capital, Islamabad is a big challenge, due to which the officials were facing not only physical but also mental difficulties. In this regard, psychological tests of different division police officials were conducted. The purpose is to further improve the performance and solve the problems faced by the officials on a priority basis.

Meanwhile, IGP Islamabad, visited the CTD Complex on Saturday. During the visit, he inspected various offices and branches of the CTD Complex. He issued orders to the officers to ensure timely attendance in the offices. He further directed the officers to personally check all duties and ensure the best performance of their official responsibilities.

Officers should be fully briefed and equipped with all necessary gadgets before being sent on duty. During the visit, IGP Islamabad also reviewed the ongoing construction works at the CTD Complex.
