Over the past several months, we have experienced frequent and prolonged power outages that have caused significant inconvenience and disruption to our daily lives. Businesses are suffering financial losses due to interrupted operations, students are unable to complete their homework and online studies and households are left in the dark, quite literally, during crucial hours. Additionally, the constant fluctuations in power supply are damaging our electrical appliances, adding to the financial burden on residents. Despite numerous complaints to the electricity board, there seems to be no tangible improvement.
We are often left without any information about the cause of the outages or when power will be restored, leaving us feeling helpless and neglected. It is imperative that the authorities take immediate action to address this issue. Regular maintenance and upgrading of the electrical infrastructure, timely and transparent communication from the electricity board and a contingency plan for emergency situations are essential steps that need to be taken to mitigate this problem. I urge the local government and the electricity board to prioritize this issue and provide a reliable and consistent power supply.

I am writing to express my frustration and concern about the frequent breakdown of electricity in Siddique Village, Karachi. As a resident of this community, I have experienced first-hand the inconvenience and disruption caused by these power outages. The most vulnerable members of our community such as children and the elderly are suffering the most.
I understand that occasional power outages can occur due to various reasons, but the frequency and duration of these events is unacceptable. It is the responsibility of the electricity department to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of power to citizens, especially to those who need it most. We need a permanent solution to this issue, not just temporary fixes.
