Two gangsters were arrested in Lyari for firing at shops and demanding extortion from traders on Wednesday. The suspects fired at a store in Kharadar for not paying extortion but were apprehended while fleeing. The suspects were affiliated with the Wasiullah Lakho group of the Lyari gang. They were identified as Rizwan and Kabir, with Rizwan being the brother of key gang member Salman Pathan, a frontman for the group. Two pistols and the motorcycle used in the crimes were recovered from the suspects.

Salman Pathan was already wanted by the police for multiple severe charges, including murder, attempted murder, and extortion. Several CCTV footage clips showed the suspects firing at shops to intimidate traders.
