Hyderabad cylinder blast deceased count increases to 23
Five more victims of the Hyderabad cylinder blast incident died on Wednesday, following which the death toll reached 23. Earlier on Tuesday, four persons injured in the explosions passed way.
The cylinder blasts had occurred on May 30 at a gas cylinder shop in a residential area of Preetabad in Hyderabad. Hyderabad Deputy Commissioner Zainul Abedin Memon said that four of the victims of the Preetabad blast died on Tuesday and five on Wednesday at the Civil Hospital Karachi. Those who died on Tuesday and Wednesday include 14-year-old Abbas Ali, 15-year-old Umair, son of Arshad, 17-year-old Ali Shah, son of Zeeshan, 25-year-old Dodo, son of Meher, 15-year-old Qazi Muhammad Hasnain, son of Shahid, 65-year-old Altaf, son of Abdul Shakoor, 15-year-old Muhammad Arain, son of Mumtaz Arain, eight-year-old Mah Noor Habib and two-year-old Hareem, daughter of Akram. All of them were admitted to the burns wards of the Civil Hospital Karachi.
