KARACHI: Air Link Communication Limited (Airlink) has signed an MoU with a Chinese company to manufacture smart wearable devices.
The MoU was signed during the prime minister’s visit to China, the company notified in a statement to the PSX on Wednesday.
“CEO of Air Link Communication Limited (Airlink) Muzzaffar Hayat Piracha is privileged to have accompanied Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on a landmark visit to China, where Airlink has signed a momentous MoU with IMIKI Corporation to manufacture smart wearable devices,” announced the company.
“Yet another initiative of Airlink in paving the way for innovation and technological advancement in Pakistan.”
The signing ceremony, said the company, was graced by esteemed delegates, including Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, and Federal Secretary of the Board of Investment Rahim Hayat Qureshi.Airlink’s 14.198 million shares were traded in the market on Thursday with a decline of 28 paisas to Rs77.53 a share.
