Blast in Landikotal damages school gate

LANDIKOTAL: An Improvised Explosive Device(IED) blast damaged a school gate, sources said on Tuesday. The sources said unidentified people had planted a time explosive device at the front gate of Landikotal Public High School No-1 in Ashkhel village that went off on Monday night. There was, however, no human loss.
In the first IED blast on May 19, the gate of the same school owner was targeted. Patentsdemanded the government to provide security to the schools in Landikotal.Meanwhile, the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement and Naujawanan-e-Qabail, a youth organisation, gave a protest call for today (Wednesday) to raise a voice against the growing militancy, target Killings and bomb blasts in Landikotal.
