KARACHI: Gold prices in the local market remained unchanged on Monday.According to All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association data, gold rates in the local market remained unchanged at Rs240,300 per tola.
Similarly, the 10-gram gold price also stood the same at Rs206,019.Gold rates stood flat at $2,326 per ounce in the international market.Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,820 per tola. The price of 10-gram silver also stood flat at Rs2,417.70.
Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market. However, local jewellers said gold prices in Pakistan have been kept lower by Rs3,000 per tola compared with the international market due to people’s weak purchasing power.
