Six booked for interfering in govt work
MARDAN: The police have registered the first information report (FIR)against six people, including a journalist, for allegedly interfering in government work at the wheat procurement centre, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that Fahad, a patwari of the Revenue Department, submitted an application with the Sheikh Maltoon Town Police Station, stating that he was performing duty at the wheat procurement centre located at Bahram Khan Killy on Nowshera Road when one Saifoor, a resident of Par Hoti, along with four other unidentified persons reached there and tried to stop other vehicles from entering the premises in a bid to facilitate the entry of his vehicles.Fahad said he wanted to stop him from doing so but he started quarreling with him and used harsh words besides hurling threats at him.
