HYDERABAD: The Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tando Jam, exhibited various start-ups and research products developed by its students and faculty at the Third Sindh Research and Technology Showcase 2024 organised by the Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC) at the Expo Centre Karachi on June 1.
The SAU vice chancellor, Dr Fateh Marri, visited the event and reviewed the stalls, including the start-up stalls set up by SAU faculty and students. He was briefed on the projects and ideas by the participating students.
Under the supervision of the Business Incubation Centre led by Dr Jam Ghulam Murtaza Sahito, students from the SAU presented their business ideas and Dr Marri praised them for their innovative contributions.
Under the leadership of Dr Zahoor Ahmed Soomro, the Seed Production and Development Centre also set up a stall at the event. Additionally, veterinary faculty experts, including Dr Imdad Laghari, Waseem Laghari, and other specialists, showcased various start-ups at their respective stalls. The event was attended by representatives from the Sindh HEC, vice chancellors of various universities, industrialists and businessmen, students, and others.
