Journalism is considered the fourth pillar of the state. However, in Pakistan, journalists that dare to work for the welfare of society or raise their voice against injustice or crime often end up facing threats. For the past two years or so, we have seen different cases of journalists in Sindh being brutally killed by unknown people. Nasrullah Gadani is the latest to fall victim to this trend.
He was a great journalist and rendered meritorious services for his society and people. He had a daring personality and was quite well-known on social media. People used to watch his videos with keen interest and he always prioritized social causes. Now, the entire province is mourning his death and demanding serious action against his killers.
