MANSEHRA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz central senior vice-president and MNA Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Sunday said the federal government had approved Rs58 billion for the Mansehra-Muzaffarabad-Mirpur (AJK) Motorway and work on it would soon be initiated.
Flanked by the PMLN local leaders Sardar Zahoor and Junaid Ali Qasim, Sardar Yousuf said that PMLN chief Nawaz Sharif had approved the Triple-M project as prime minister in 2017 but the PTI government scrapped that important project in its tenure.
“This project will be completed at a cost of Rs58 billion. It could have cost hardly Rs40 billion to the national exchequer had the previous Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government initiated work on it,” he told reporters here.

economic changes and prosperity in the region,” he added.Sardar Yousuf said that the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was being launched during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Beijing next week.He said that Mansehra’s gravity water supply scheme was approved by the previous PMLN government which would be completed at a cost of Rs18 billion.
