LAHORE : Commissioner Lahore Zaid Bin Maqsood during his visit to LDA’s Controlled Access Corridor Project on Saturday has expressed his dissatisfaction over the slow speed of work on the project at Band Road.

Commissioner Lahore directed that the speed of work on the service road of Package-2 of the project must be accelerated and complete the high-rise area of the project as soon as possible and open it for traffic.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Commissioner Lahore visited the same project during the last week and expressed his strong reservations over the delay of the Package-2 of the project.

Sources in LDA’s Engineering Wing claimed that the pace of work on Package-2 of the Controlled Access Corridor Project at Band Road was slow since its start and during their time, the former Commissioner M Ali Randhawa and the former CM Mohsin Naqvi also issued various warnings to the project contractor of Package-2 to gear up the speed of work.

Sources said the citizens were suffering due to the slow speed of work on Package-2 of the Controlled Access Corridor Project at Band Road, which was one of the busiest arteries of the provincial metropolis.
