RAHIM YAR KHAN: A landlord tortured local journalist Muhammad Younis in Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday.
According to details, the landlord tortured local journalist Muhammad Younis with sticks and tore off his clothes, damaging the journalists’ hands and feet. The incident took place in Ahsanpur area of Rahim Yar Khan. The journalist was later shifted to a hospital.
Police said five suspects were involved in journalist’s torture. It registered the case and arrested three suspects allegedly involved in torturing the journalist.
Meanwhile, journalist Muhammad Younis said that the accused had occupied the land of his brothers, adding that he was tortured for publishing the news against the landlord.
