MS slaps patient’s relative

LAHORE:The Medical Superintendent of Jinnah Hospital Lahore has slapped the relative a patient in emergency ward. The MS Dr Yahya Sultan slapped the relative of the child patient, who brought the patient to the emergency ward while he himself was wearing a doctor's coat. While a private doctor accompanied a sick child, the MS spotted him during a round. When MS quizzed him about wearing a doctor's white coat, he said he was on duty at his clinic but had to bring his nephew for emergency treatment at Jinnah Hospital. In the meanwhile, the child's father came and tried to mediate between MS and his doctor relative. However, MS lost his temper and slapped the child's relative. After the incident, the doctor immediately took off his coat. On the other hand, MS maintained that he had caught a fake doctor in the emergency ward, adding that the hospital administration would hold an inquiry in this regard.
