QUETTA: Condemning the firing incident that killed as many as 20 labourers in Turbat, Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Saturday said terrorists receiving funds from Indian spy agency RAW were involved in the heinous act.
The chief minister said Rs1 million will be given to each slain labourer’s family as compensation and Rs50,000 to each injured labourer.
Abdul Malik Baloch arrived in Turbat to chair a high-level meeting on the incident regarding security following the killing of the labourers.
He also directed the authorities to send the bodies of the labourers to their heirs via a helicopter.
At least 20 labourers hailing from Sindh and Punjab were gunned down and three others wounded in a brazen terrorist attack in Turbat in the early hours of Saturday.
