Barrister Saif says Imran fighting for real independence
PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan was not against the state rather he was fighting for it.
In a statement, he said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party leaders have suddenly started holding press conferences criticising Imran Khan, creating an impression as if he was fighting against the state.
“Imran Khan is not fighting against the state and its institutions. He is rather fighting for the state to empower its institutions,” Barrister Saif said.He said Imran Khan wanted to help Pakistan get rid of looters and plunderers and achieve real freedom.
“They are criticising Imran Khan for writing articles and giving interviews from jail. They don’t know that prominent leaders in the world authored books. They enjoy eating lavish food and don’t have the ability to write a single article,” he added.
Calling their political opponents as conspirators, Barrister Saif said they have now started talking about Bangladeshi leader Sheikh Mujeebur Rahman, but they didn’t understand that in fact they have repeated what Sheikh Mujeebur Rahman had committed in 1971.
