Islamabad: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, has appointed Ali Raza (a 19 grade officer of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Operations with the look after charge of DIG (Security), as replacement of Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bokhari who has been transferred from the ICT Police and has joined Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as Director Islamabad Zone.
The newly appointed officer Ali Raza has been transferred from Punjab (Lahore) to join Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police as DIG (Operations). While, Lt. Cdr.(R) Yasir Afridi (PSP/BS-19), in an internal reshuffling, has been who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as AIG (Special Branch with additional charge of SSP (SPU) for the period of 3 months, replacing Sqn. Ldr. (R) Abdul Haq Umrani (PSP/BS-19) who has been appointed AIG (Operations) with the additional charge of AIG (Establishment).
