Tax exemption suggested for industrial areas

PESHAWAR: The Industrialists Association Peshawar has called for exempting industrial areas from property tax. The demand was made as a delegation of the Industrialists Association Peshawar led by its President Ayub Khan Zakori met with Minister for Excise & Taxation Khaleeq-ur-Rehman and Secretary Excise Fayaz Ali Shah and made the suggestion, said a press release.
The delegation included Haris Mufti, Riaz Arshed, Malik Niaz Ahmed, Azghar Keen, Member, Mian Rahimdad Khan, Wasi Ullah, and Zulfiqar Ali.The delegation members stressed the need for property tax exemption in industrial areas to alleviate the financial 0burden on industries.
