Protest against Renala Khurd purchase centre admin
From Our Correspondent
OKARA: Farmers have protested against the administration of Renala Khurd wheat purchase centre for allegedly deleting their names from the list of gunny bags obtainers.
The farmers alleged that the administration of the wheat purchase centre was entering or deleting the names of farmers from the list of gunny bags according to their own will. They claimed that they had deposited the amount of gunny bags but the administration of the Renala Khurd purchase centre allegedly either deleted their names or put their names at the lowest columns. They alleged that all exercise was going on just to provide gunny bags to favourites. When contacted, the purchase centre administration told that the centre had not received supply of gunny bags yet. As soon as the supply received, gunny bags would be issued to the farmers, the administration added.
