14-year-old boy set ablaze

BAHAWALPUR: A 14-year-old boy was set ablaze at Chak 42/3-R near Haroonabad on Tuesday night.
Waris Ali was on his way home on a bicycle when some accused put petrol on him and set him ablaze. He was rushed to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital in critical condition. According to BVH emergency ward director Dr Amir Mahmood, the boy was almost 90 per cent burnt and his condition was critical. Talking to The News, victim’s uncle Sultan that Imran and his accomplices were allegedly involved in the incident. Sadar Haroonabad police have registered a case against Imran and others on the complaint of victim’s father Muhammad Younis.
