Education is the cornerstone of any state as it guarantees peace, progress and prosperity. Without a viable and robust education system, the dream of enlightenment, advancement and development will remain unrealized. We lag behind in multiple fields because of our apathy towards this crucial sector. We do not revere those who are associated with the teaching profession despite the fact that they are the real architects of an educated and egalitarian society or state. Their role in building and shaping the young generation is really quite important and those who take on this role ought to get their due credit and recognition.
If we want to emerge as a prosperous nation in the future, we must pay serious attention to the faltering education system and make educators a top priority. In case we continue to ignore this key sector as we have done in the past, our dream of becoming a self-sufficient and advanced nation will remain just that.
