TANK: Maulana Ihsanullah, a leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), was shot dead by unknown armed assailants in the Shah Alam area of Tank district on Saturday.
District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Salam Khalid said that the incident occurred last night when unidentified gunmen opened fire, resulting in the immediate death of Maulana Ihsanullah.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are conducting raids to apprehend the culprits.
