Islamabad : Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chaudhary Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed for completion of ongoing development works in residential sectors in three months.
The CDA chairman was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing development works in sectors C-14, Sector C-15, Sector C-16, Sector I-12 and Sector E-12. He was told that 50 percent development work has been completed in Sector C-14 and C-15, 45 percent in Sector E-12 and 80 percent in Sector I-12. Randhawa directed that the ongoing development works in all the sectors should be completed in four months and all impediments hindering sector development should be removed so that the development works are not disturbed.
He directed that the development works in Sector C-14 should be completed by September 2024 and the possession should be given to the allottees. Similarly, the construction work in Sector I-12/3 and Sector I-12/4 should be completed and handed over to the allottees within three months. He said that payments to contractors should be made after the third party validation of the development works of the sectors.
He further directed to ensure the appointment of consultants for all projects. Similarly, coordination among concerned formations is very important for completion of development works in these sectors. He further said that the development works in the sectors which have been stalled for a long time should be completed on priority basis.
