LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed heard the case related to the appointment of judges in special courts of Punjab.
Advocate General Punjab, while presenting the notification of the appointment of judges in the court, said that judges have been appointed in all the anti-terrorism courts (ATCs) of Punjab.
If further appointment is to be done elsewhere, that too will be completed as soon as possible
The chief justice appreciated the positive role of Advocate General Punjab. He said everyone is respectful to them as he has shown good attitude.
Meanwhile, Punjab Home Department has announced the appointment of six new judges to the anti-terrorism courts across the province. These are the newly appointed judges and their respective courts: Khalid Arshad was appointed Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court I, Lahore, Irfan Haider, Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court II, Lahore, Muhammad Abbas, Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Sargodha, Muhammad Naeem Saleem, Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Gujranwala, Raja Shahid Zameer, Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Faisalabad, Ziaullah Khan, Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Sahiwal.
