‘Panama Leaks have weakened govt’

OKARA: The government and its allied parties do not want to face the joint opposition to finalise the terms of reference (ToRs) for the judicial commission, said MNA Rana Shafqat Mehmood of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.
He was talking to PTI regional organiser Syed Ali Husnain Naqvi regarding arrangements for a party public meeting in Faisalabad here on Tuesday. He said that the Panama Leaks allegations had weakened the government. He said that it was the right time to take action against corrupts to eliminate corruption from the country.

Muhammad Ijaz of Jhabbar village near Ganda Singhwala, Kasur, had contracted marriage with Tehrim of Pial Khurd village about four years ago. After the marriage, the couple shifted to Dharmaywala village near Depalpur, Okara, where Ijaz started cable business. The couple had a daughter from the wedlock. Later, Ijaz allegedly developed relations with Nazia. When Tehrim came to know about the affair, Ijaz allegedly shot her dead and took the body to Ganda Singhwala for burial. In the meantime, police came to know about the incident and arrested the accused from Ganda Singhwala. Police also recovered the body.
