PESHAWAR: The residents of Gulberg locality here on Monday asked Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to ensure the supply of the commodity to the locality as the households faced difficulty cooking the food.
In a statement, they said that they had not been getting a sufficient gas supply for the last month, which had created a host of problems for them. The residents said that though they were paying the bills regularly, they were not receiving gas at the required pressure to cook the food.
They said the housewives could not prepare breakfast for school-going children who left home on empty stomachs. The residents asked the SNGPL officials to lay a bigger gas pipeline in the locality to resolve the issue of low gas pressure.
