BATTAGRAM: Adhering to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the key to achieving success in both this life and the hereafter.
This message was powerfully conveyed at the recent Seerat-un-Nabi competition held in Lahore, where participants from various backgrounds came together to honour the life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH).
The competition, organised by the Punjab Government Housing Foundation, saw participation from children and employees alike.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of cash prizes to the top performers. The first prize of Rs200,000 was awarded to Amina Hayat, the daughter of Muhammad Anwar Khan. The second prize of Rs100,000 went to Syed Abdullah Shah Sherazi.
In addition to these awards, five other participants were also recognised and rewarded for their efforts. The event was further enriched by special gifts imported from Madina Munawwara, adding a spiritual touch to the ceremony.
A notable feature of the event was the distribution of 500 free copies of “Seerat-un-Nabi,” a book authored by Secretary Commissioner Punjab Rai Manzoor Nasir. The initiative aimed to spread the knowledge and wisdom encapsulated in the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The event organisers were also acknowledged for their exceptional efforts. Executive Director Abdul Khaliq, Director Finance Muhammad Zeeshan, Caretaker Muhammad Farooq Arshad, AD-Admin Hayat Mahmood, and others received awards for their services in making the competition a success.
The Seerat-un-Nabi competition in Lahore was not just a contest, but a celebration of the timeless values and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), reminding everyone of the importance of living by his exemplary life.
