Highly wanted suspect arrested with 51g hashish

The Sindh Rangers and police conducted a joint operation near the Yusuf Goth bus terminal and arrested Bilal, a highly wanted suspect connected with a Lyari gang.

According to the Rangers spokesperson, 51g of hashish, a mobile phone and cash were recovered from the suspect. The spokesperson said the suspect is a notorious drug dealer and a close associate of Kashif Dada, an active Lyari gang commander.

The suspect has admitted to being involved in drug supply, extortion, blackmail, kidnapping for ransom, robbery and other crimes on the orders of Dada, added the spokesperson.

The suspect had earlier fled to Iran to avoid arrest. He was also involved in selling and renting out illegal weapons to robbers’ gangs. Multiple cases are registered against the suspect at various police stations. He had been previously arrested and imprisoned.
