Awkum approves revised budget

MARDAN: The 28th meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (Awkum), held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Tahir, approved revised budget here on Saturday.

A press release said that Director Finance Dr Shaista Irshad Khan presented the revised budget for 2023-24 and the proposed budget for 2024-25, both of which were unanimously approved by the committee.

The approved budget includes provisions for an additional salary for government employees, covering six months of arrears as of June 2023.
