Summer vacation in schools from June 1

LAHORE: School Education Department (SED) Punjab on Friday announced annual summer vacation for public and private schools in the province starting from June 1, 2024 in view of severe weather conditions.

As per the notification, shared by Punjab Schools Minister’s media team, the summer vacation will be observed from June 1 to August 14, 2024. Meanwhile, the Schools Department also issued a notification about revised working hours of educational institutions, both public and private, in view of severe weather conditions. As per the notification, the schools will open from 7:00 am till 11:30 am from Monday till Thursday and Saturday, while 7:00 am to 10:30 am timing would be observed on Fridays.
