Gillespie stresses long-term stability

LAHORE: Jason Gillespie, the newly appointed red-ball coach for the Pakistan cricket team, has emphasised his commitment to a well-informed approach and long-term stability.
Gillespie acknowledges the challenges of coaching in Pakistan but expresses his readiness. He has actively sought advice from experienced figures like David Whitmore (former coach in various countries) and Simon Helmut (former Pakistan fielding coach).
Gillespie in an interview highlighted the value of these conversations in understanding the players and navigating the team environment. He recognises the issue of frequent coaching changes in Pakistan cricket and the desire for continuity.
