Three illegal constructions demolished
LAHORE:Lahore Development Authority (LDA) teams, in a major operation against illegal constructions, demolished three illegal land subdivisions, residential schemes here on Wednesday.
LDA teams conducted the operation against the illegal land subdivision on Canal Road where they demolished the construction partially and also demolished the infrastructure built in the scheme.
LDA teams also took action against an illegal land subdivision located at Ferozepur Road. They demolished the sewage system, structures and roads of the illegal land subdivision during the operation. LDA teams also demolished the constructions of houses at the cemetery site located on Multan Road. Director Pvt. Housing Schemes (DEM) Asadullah Cheema and Chief Town Planner Azhar Ali conducted the operation. LDA enforcement squad and police participated in the operation. Meanwhile, in the biggest ever auction, LDA collected more than Rs1 billion revenue from lease and sale of residential and commercial plots, petrol pumps and education sites. LDA DG reviewed the auction process in which 25 properties including residential and commercial plots, petrol pump and education sites were auctioned.
