LAHORE: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has launched a special cleaning operation at public places in the provincial capital here on Tuesday.
Under the guidance of LWMC CEO Babar Sahib Din, the sanitation teams conducted a zero-waste operation around schools, colleges, Lorry Adda and public places. Special cleaning activities were ensured at Chowk Yateem Khana, Band Road, City Bus Terminal, Niazi Adda, Skyways and other public places.
LWMC CEO said that daily cleaning operations were underway in govt schools, public parks, and commercial markets. Over 10,000 LWMC workers and cleaning machinery were deployed across the nine towns of provincial capital, working tirelessly towards achieving a zero-waste city. Citizens were urged to support LWMC's efforts by disposing of garbage in designated bins.
