LAHORE: Former Punjab chief minister Manzoor Wattoo announced his decision to join the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with his family members after a meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Lahore on Monday.
Among those who joined the party were former MNAs Khurram Wattoo and Rubina Shaheen Wattoo, as well as former MPAs Moazzam Wattoo, Jahan Ara Wattoo, and Amina Wattoo Kasuri.
Chairman Bilawal warmly welcomed the new members into the party. Also present at the meeting were Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Hassan Murtaza, Shahzad Saeed Cheema, and Chaudhry Sajjadul Hassan.
