Rawalpindi:Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Aamir Khattak directed that Panaflex of full size to be displayed outside all DHQ, THQ and specialised health centres. These panaflex may read the details of the health facilities provided in that centres and also tests, medicines which are available free of cost for public. Likewise, the fee of ultrasound and others tests should also be mentioned.

He said that these measures will help to ensure that no patient is overcharged or unnecessarily referred to a private setups. Apart from this, there should also be panaflex outside Government departments containing all the information of required documents to be attached with the application. It will help People to submit complete applications and get them processed promptly. He would visit government departments on coming week to check these Panaflex.

He expressed these views while chairing review meeting of Divisional Coordination Committee (DCC) here on Monday. Commissioner directed additional commissioner to devise such a mechanism through which it can be traced that when the specific application was received and how long it took to get processes from all concerned offices. It will help to evaluate the performance of offices.

He directed DCs to make the performance up to the mark as per indicators issued by CM Punjab good governance initiatives. He said that in order to pass on the benefit of reduction in the price of wheat to the public, ‘Roti’ should be made available at the fixed price. Commissioner Rawalpindi instructed Price Magistrates to keep the purpose of fine in mind which is correcting attitude. While giving a briefing on this occasion, it was informed that the price of ‘Patiri’ roti has been reduced to Rs15 in Attock and Jhelum districts. Commissioner directed to reduce the price of ‘roti’ in the rest of the districts as well. Price magistrates are checking tandors on daily basis for enforcement of price of roti. It was apprised that during last 24 hours, three people were arrested and fined Rs145,000 was imposed amid 41 violations.
