LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan called on Punjab Governor M Balighur Rehman at Governor’s House on Thursday and congratulated him on performing Umrah.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab governor praised Malik M Ahmad Khan for running the affairs of the Punjab Assembly in an excellent manner. PA speaker said that the Punjab governor has upheld the supremacy of constitution and law. Earlier, M Balighur Rehman returned home in the wee hours on Thursday after performing Umrah.
Meanwhile, Punjab governor in his statement regarding the tragic incident that happened across the country on May 9, last year, said that it was a dark chapter in the history of the country.
