LAHORE:LDA, in collaboration with the Traffic Engineering and Planning Agency (TEPA), conducted a joint operation against violations of parking regulations and illegal signboards on Main Boulevard, College Road, and MM Alam Road in Gulberg on Thursday.
The enforcement teams of LDA and TEPA sealed over a dozen properties for non-compliance with parking regulations, including parking areas of plazas, cloth shops, bakeries, shoe stores, money exchanges, and offices. LDA team had also issued notices to the sealed properties before conducting the operation.
The teams undertook actions against 36 properties. During the operation, illegal signboards were removed from more than two dozen buildings including plazas, offices, restaurants, cloth and jewelry stores, pizza shops, parlors, and private banks, among others. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hussain and Director Enforcement Furqan Zaheer.
