ISLAMABAD: The federal government has transferred a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Muhammad Humair Karim and appointed him as special secretary in the Economic Affairs Division (EAD). Previously, he was serving as additional secretary in the Economic Affairs Division.
A BS-20 officer of PAS Faisal Zahoor has also been transferred and his service handed over to Civil Services Academy, Lahore. Joint Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, Sajjad Ahmad, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division. The Establishment Division also issued a notification to cancel a notification regarding transfer of BS-20 officer of Police Service Qamaruz Zaman, directing him to continue his services in the National Police Bureau.
Pirbhoo Sochi Lal, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PA&AS), presently posted as chief finance and accounts officer, Industries and Production Division, has been transferred. His services are placed at the disposal of Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) for the post of director general, on deputation for a period of three years.
