Food Division gets new secretary

ISLAMABAD: Dr. Muhammad Fakhare Alam Irfan, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), awaiting posting, has been appointed Secretary of the National Food Security and Research Division.

Captain (R) Muhammad Asif, BS-21 PAS officer, was serving as Additional Secretary (Incharge) National Food Security and Research Division, has been transferred and made OSD in Establishment Division.

Saima Bibi, a BS-19 officer of the Secretariat Group who was serving as Deputy Secretary at the Parliamentary Affairs Division has been transferred with the directive to report to the Establishment Division.

Sheryar Arif, a BS-18 officer of PAS, presently serving in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of the Punjab government.

Additional Secretary Prime Minister’s Office Nazar Muhammad Buzdar has been transferred to Additional Secretary Interior Division and Additional Secretary Industry and Production Division Sara Aslam has been transferred and appointed Additional Secretary Prime Minister’s Office. Both the Grade 21 officers belong to Pakistan Administrative Service.

Police Service Grade 20 Officer Qamar-ul-Zaman has been transferred to the National Police Bureau and his services have been handed over to the Balochistan government, while the services of Parvez Khan Imrani, a Police Service Grade 20 officer posted in FIA, have been transferred to the Balochistan government and the services of Police Service Grade 20 officer Yasin Farooq Sheikh posted in FIA have been handed over to National Highways and Motorway Police.

Joint Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs Arshad Farid Khan and Deputy Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Division Saima Bibi have been transferred and directed them to report to the Establishment Division, while Joint Secretary Climate Change Division Sameera Sheikh has been transferred as Joint Secretary National Security Division.

The deputation of Naseerullah Khan, Grade 18 officer of Information Group, has been extended by one year in the government of Balochistan. The services of Federal Directorate of Education Islamabad Headmistress Shandana Niaz have been handed over to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. She will be appointed as head mistress or Subject Specialist in the Education Department for three years on deputation. The Establishment Division has issued official notifications for these appointments and transfers.
