Minister takes notice of medical students’ issues

LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique Friday took notice of incidents with male and female students in Avicenna Medical College, Bedian Road Lahore.
According to a handout, on the directives of the minister, Vice-Chancellor University of Health Sciences (UHS) Prof Dr Ahsan Waheed Rathore made a fact-finding committee headed by Prof Dr Allah Rakha and comprising UHS Director of Student Affairs, the Director of Medical Education and the Additional Registrar of Academics as members of the body.
